After 6 months (!) in our new home, it sometimes feels like we’ve made very slow progress on our fixer upper. • Syllvia - Robyn:

You have really accomplished a lot.

We continue to work on our new home. For Mother’s Day Bill is painting the master ceiling white instead of chocolate brown and hopefully next week will repaint the two remaining bathrooms. This weekend we hung pictures in the dining room.
It all takes time but with each accomplishment there is a joy and excitement as we each create our homes. You guys are amazing.ReplyCancel

  • Kelly Strawberry - Gorgeous!!! This house is so beautiful! I hope the next 6 months go more smoothly than the first 6 months! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

    • Robyn Van Dyke - Thanks, Elizabeth! It’s encouraging to hear you say “fast!” Haha! It certainly hasn’t felt that way at times! We’re hoping things continue to move but it is definitely starting to feel like there are more “fun” parts to this whole process the more we progress! ๐Ÿ™‚ ReplyCancel

Happy May, y’all! I am astounded by how quickly this year is flying by and at the same time excited by the longer daylight hours and warm weather to enjoy being outside! April was a good month! We updated our signs and business cards at the dental office, and loved getting so much positive feedback […]

  • Elizabeth Burns - Love your idea to reach out to someone in your hood! We too have zero friends in our new city so you have inspired me to try the same here. ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

We are so grateful to finally have a garage door again and to be making progress on our massive list of home renovations! (While the brick still needs exterior paint and sconces still need to be installed, we LOVE the black garage door!!) However, nothing could have prepared me for the emotional roller coaster that […]
